The History of The Laboratory of Flowers

The Laboratory of Flowers was created in 1993 to serve the needs of health practitioners pursuing the professional study of aromatherapy. Joan Clark and Michael Scholes developed the extensive laboratory of essential oils for the pursuit of improving the craft of aromatic blending as a health practice. Their passion for aromatherapy produced a network of the finest organic essential oil producers and wildcrafters. The Michael Scholes School for Aromatic Studies has instructed more than 8,000 students and practitioners in the practice and art of aromatherapy and has maintained for more than ten years the bar by which all aromatic practice is based.
